The Autism Center for Kids offers an early learning and development daycare for children aged 3 – 6 years, where each child gets personal and individual attention throughout the day. A maximum of 15 children is accepted into the daycare and school to guarantee a staff-to-child ratio of 1:3. Our teachers are highly qualified and trained to work with children with various special needs. They are supported by a team of registered therapists and Ontario-certified early childhood educators (ECE).
What does the infant and toddler classroom schedule include?

Each child attending the Autism Center for Kids daycare receives the equivalent of fifteen weekly (individual, group, supported) therapy and activities hours every week. Depending on each child’s needs, it might include speech therapy, occupational therapy, music & art therapy, and floor time/Miller Method therapy.
Admission Process at the Autism Center for Kids Daycare
Are you ready to give your child the wings to soar? The first step of the admission process is a meeting with Haimove Amir, the founder of the center, to assess your child and for you to learn about the daycare’s daily activities. As a second step, we hold an in-person parent meeting to discuss the options best suited for your child. Once this is completed, we invite your child to attend a week in the daycare to determine if they are a good fit for the classes.
Going to School After Daycare Years
The Autism Center for Kids has a school programme for children ages 4 to 9 years. As with the daycare group, we offer therapy and also work on developing skills like conflict management, social awareness, self-help, daily functional living, problem-solving, reading, writing and numeracy. Because we understand the modern needs of parents, we also have before and after care for the school and daycare.
