What is the ACK Give Back Project?
Each year there are thousands of kids on the spectrum that don’t get the proper therapy that they need to develop and thrive. At ACK we were tired of seeing these families get turned away and decided to fix it. We contacted private donors that believe in our cause and built up a fund to help support families in need.
Our goal with the ACK Give Back project is to help 613 families a year by providing their child with the autism therapy they deserve as well as funding for household supplies, camps, and vacations.
OAP funding alternative-Autism Therapy and Costs
Therapy for the ACK Give Back Project is for children ages 1.5-5 that are currently non-verbal and have been diagnosed with either autism or developmental delay, and register with ontario autism program
All autism therapy will be provided by the Autism Center for Kids at a reduced cost consisting of:
Clinic-based morning program for 6 hours – $1,800 -This program is 5 days/week
Or an After-School autism therapy program for 1 hour 55$+HST autism therapy program parent program
All autism therapy will be provided by the Autism Center for Kids
The cost and level of therapy will depend on the child’s age, level of diagnosis and social-economic situation,we are covered by oap core clinical services and insurance
The current locations for autism therapy are in Vaughn
