Conditions We Support
Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity (ADHD)
Children with ADHD often experience challenges with attention, impulse control, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. We work to understand each child’s developmental profile and provide strategies that support focus, organization, and emotional balance.
Autism Spectrum Differences
We support children across the autism spectrum with individualized therapy plans that address communication, sensory processing, social connection, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. Our approach respects neurodiversity while helping children access tools that support independence and confidence
Childhood Anxiety
Anxiety can present in many ways, including avoidance, emotional outbursts, sleep difficulties, and physical symptoms. Our clinic supports children by identifying underlying stressors, supporting emotional regulation, and helping families create environments that promote security and resilience.
Sleep Difficulties
Sleep challenges can significantly impact a child’s mood, behavior, learning, and family well-being. We address sleep concerns through developmentally informed, neuroscience-guided strategies that consider emotional regulation, sensory needs, and family routines.
Learning Disabilities
Children with learning differences may struggle with academic tasks, self-esteem, or motivation. We collaborate with families and educators to understand learning profiles and support cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs.
Selective Mutism
Selective mutism is a complex anxiety-related condition that affects communication in specific settings. Our clinic provides specialized, gentle, and developmentally appropriate support to help children feel safe, understood, and gradually more confident in communication.

Our Clinical Approach
At Autism Center for Kids – Neuro Vaughan Clinic, we do not believe in quick fixes or generic therapy models. Our work begins with understanding the child’s developmental stage, nervous system responses, emotional world, and family context.
We integrate:
- Developmental psychology
- Neuroscience-informed practice
- Family systems understanding
- Child-centered therapeutic relationships
This allows us to create therapy plans that are realistic, ethical, and aligned with each child’s needs.
Family-Centered Care
Families are an essential part of the therapeutic process. We work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to:
- Provide education and guidance
- Support consistency across environments
- Reduce stress and confusion
- Build confidence in understanding their child
We recognize that supporting a child also means supporting the family system as a whole.
A Safe and Supportive Environment
Our clinic environment is designed to feel welcoming, calm, and emotionally safe for children. We are mindful of sensory sensitivities, emotional needs, and developmental differences. Every interaction is guided by respect, patience, and curiosity.
Children are never rushed or pressured. Progress is measured in meaningful steps, not timelines.
Why Families Choose Neuro Vaughan Clinic
Families choose our clinic because we offer:
- A neuroscience- and developmentally informed approach
- Specialized experience with autism and related conditions
- Individualized therapy plans
- Respect for neurodiversity
- Honest, compassionate communication
Our goal is not to change who a child is, but to help them thrive as they are.
Our Commitment
We are committed to ethical, evidence-informed, and child-centered care. We continuously engage with current research, professional development, and reflective practice to ensure the highest standards of support for children and families.
At Autism Center for Kids – Neuro Vaughan Clinic, we believe that every child deserves understanding, dignity, and the opportunity to develop at their own pace.
Clarification of Our Therapeutic Approach
Autism Center for Kids – Neuro Vaughan Clinic is not an ABA clinic. While some clinics use the term “neuro” to describe applied behavior analysis (ABA)–based services, our use of the word neuro refers specifically to a neuroscience-informed and developmental approach to child therapy.
Our services are grounded in developmental psychology, neuroscience research, and child mental health principles, rather than behavior-modification models alone. Therapy at our clinic focuses on understanding each child’s nervous system, emotional regulation, developmental stage, and individual strengths.
We provide developmental therapy, child mental health support, and family-centered interventions that respect neurodiversity and prioritize emotional safety, relational connection, and long-term developmental progress. Our work does not emphasize compliance-based programming or standardized behavioral protocols.
Families seeking ABA therapy should ensure they contact a clinic that explicitly identifies itself as an ABA provider. Families seeking neuroscience-informed, developmental, and child-centered therapy may find our approach aligns with their values and goals.
Transparency & Ethical Practice
We are committed to clarity, ethical communication, and informed choice. We encourage families to ask questions, explore different therapeutic models, and select services that best meet their child’s needs.
Our clinic does not claim exclusivity, superiority, or guaranteed outcomes. All services are individualized, evidence-informed, and delivered within appropriate professional and ethical boundaries.
